Parish Activities
Lenten Retreat
On Sunday, March 6th, St Victor Parish hosted a Lenten Retreat, centered on the theme of "Family Difficulties" and "The Eucharist". The topics were led beautifully by Deacon Carl Bugarin.
Fr Mark followed with a catechesis on the Pillars of Lent. Other activities included planting a seed,
a reflection period, and a prayer service. A take-home packet of Lenten activities was included for the registrants as well. The Retreat concluded with sharing a meal together.
It was a wonderful way to put ourselves along the path of our Lenten journeys.

Jubilee Games for Vocations
On Saturday July 17, the Diocese of San Jose hosted the Jubilee Soccer Games for Vocations at Archbishop Mitty High School.
Sisters and Postulants competed for the St. Clare Cup.
Priests ("The Workers") and Seminarians ("The Dreamers") competed for the St. Joseph Cup. Halftime entertainment included Bishop Oscar Cantú (#1) playing goalie as kids got to kick for a goal. We are proud of Fr John Offor (#15) -- team captain of The Workers!
It was a fun family event, the games were competitive and exciting, and support for vocations was successful.
