"Be More":

A Marriage Formation Retreat

APRIL 21-23rd

Marriage is the beginning, not the end, of the struggle to make life work!” - Flannery O’Conner

Your marriage is stable, and your faith is solid, but do you still yearn for greater fulfillment from your marriage than you realize today? Do you desire to continue to grow closer to your spouse and to Christ as you face the difficult challenges of life?

There are moments in our marriage when we need a road map; when we need a guide as well as conversation about how we are navigating through the Sacrament of Marriage. In this Be More: A Marriage Formation Retreat we step honestly into the trust, intimacy, joy and passion of your marriage.

"Wild at Heart"

A Men's Retreat (ages 21-35)

MAY 5-7th

“Deep in his heart, every man longs for a battle to fight, an adventure to live, and a beauty to rescue.” John Eldredge

Are you looking for fellowship with other men to reignite your faith, to explore the challenges of life, to forge meaningful relationships? Do you want to lay a solid foundation for the journey ahead? Together, we can unleash the warrior within us to wage a battle for truth, goodness, and beauty.

Recent Activities

Parish Lenten Retreat

On Sunday, March 5th, St Victor Parish hosted our 5th Annual Lenten Retreat. With special guest Jesse Manibusan as speaker and leader, the Retreat centered on our "Journey to the Cross". Activities included a beautiful slide presentation by Jesse as we listened and sang along with him. He shared personal witness accounts, invited participation, and led a prayer service. Registrants also had the opportunity to complete their own Stations of the Cross craft. The event ended with a meal, shared together.

It was a wonderful way to focus on the Lenten Season and follow Jesus in our journey to the Cross.

Parish Movie Night

On Saturday, January 28, St. Victor Parish Evangelization Committee sponsored a Movie Night, featuring “Mother Teresa: No Greater Love”

Everyone had a great time watching the inspiring movie on

Mother Teresa. The free hotdogs, fruits, candies, popcorn, and drinks made it even more enjoyable.  We hope to see everyone again at the next movie night.

Walk For Life

Thank you to all who supported the West Coast Walk for Life in San Francisco on Saturday, Jan 21. Our deepest gratitude to sponsors who provided food and donations for those who walked and represented

St. Victor Church.  Our heartfelt thanks to our participants for rallying and walking to protect the unborn. The event was successfully attended by thousands of pro-lifers from all over the West Coast.

Dedication of the Marian Garden

September 8, 2022:

Our new Marian Prayer Garden was blessed and dedicated on the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. All are invited to spend some time in prayer in our beautiful new setting.

FYI: The grotto and "Garden of Gethsemane" area are works in progress and will be completed soon. See artist's rendering in photos below as to how completed Marian Prayer Garden will look.

 Jubilee Games for Vocations
Soccer Cup 2022.jpg

The Diocese of San Jose hosted the 2nd Annual Jubilee Soccer Games for Vocations at Archbishop Mitty High School on Saturday, July 30th. Priests and Seminarians competed in a game for the St. Joseph Cup, with high school boys filling out both teams. Fr John captained the Workers (Priests) Team and a group of St Victor parishioners were there to cheer him on. Bishop Oscar Cantú was suited up

and on the field as well. The game was hard-fought and ended in a tie, 2-2.

Sisters and Postulants  competed in a second game for the St. Clare Cup, with high school girls filling out both teams. The Sisters competed well, but fell to the Postulants with a final score of 3-1.

It was a fun family event, and support for vocations was successful.
