In 1970, a group of parishioners wishing to honor Our Lady of Guadalupe on her feast day, December 12, formed a society in her honor. The response of the members was so enthusiastic that they have remained faithful to the association, and they have promoted the spiritual goals as well as helped preserved their cultural values.

Although the main purpose is devotion to Our Lady, the Society has undertaken projects like a family brunch cookout, a Memorial Mass for deceased members, Our Lady of Guadalupe Feast Day celebration, and a yearly Crab Feed.  Also, a High Tea was held for the benefit of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Alviso.  These activities have been successful, but more importantly, they helped reinforce bonds among the members of the Society.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Society offers support for all parish activities and events.  The Society meets once a month at the home of a member to pray the Rosary, have dinner and to discuss and plan the year's events.

The proceeds from the Crab Feed are distributed annually to the following: St. Victor Church, St. Victor School, and St. Victor CCD Program.

Anyone interested in the devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe is invited to join the Society.   To join the Society, please call the current president who is listed in the Church Bulletin.
